Archon Concrete Design (2024) V1
Archon Concrete Design (2024) V1
Archon Concrete Design is based on the requirements of ACI 318 and standard design practice.
The program provides the following features:
1. A Rebar Database that provides basic information on straight bars, hooked bars and headed bars. It also provides information of plane and deformed wire mesh.
2. A concrete beam design feature. This feature provides analysis for rectangular or T shaped sections. Given load inputs the program will check stress requirements.
3. A Concrete Column design feature. This feature provides analysis for rectangular or round columns. The output provides a stress check and where you’re loading falls on a axial load / moment interactive diagram.
4. A Composite steel beam / concrete slab section. The program provides a stress analysis for the section and provides features to generate dimension information such as effective slab width.
5. A Basement Wall analysis feature. This feature will analyze a basement wall configuration to determine the wall stability and a stress analysis.
6. A Footing analysis feature. This feature will analyze a rectangular footing for stress and soil bearing.
7. A Retaining Wall analysis feature. This feature will analyze a Retaining Wall for sliding, overturning, soil bearing pressure and wall stress limits.
The program will run on Windows 7, 8 and 10 operating systems.
The program help uses a PDF file. In order for the help to be viewed from the program, the operating computer must be able to read a pdf file. If necessary a free Adobe PDF reader may be downloaded and installed from https://get.adobe.com/reader/.
